The Dell of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area is a hidden gem off a small country road. Though the water is busy with boat traffic, the trail is peaceful with far fewer visitors than other areas of the Dells. The views from the cliffs are gorgeous; pines provide plenty of shade. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any water access for wading.
