Lake Farm Park, as it is more commonly known, sits on the western shore of Lake Waubesa. The park is over 300 acres and contains numerous hiking trails, plus is bisected by the Capital City Trail and the Lower Yahara River Trail. There are gorgeous views over the lake, a boat launch, camping and a playground. There are some marshy areas, so be sure to wear bug spray in the summer.

While you’re in the neighborhood, stop by Stella’s bakery for some of their famous hot and spicy cheesy bread, a sticky bun or other treat.
