The University of Wisconsin’s Surplus With A Purpose shop is a treasure trove of used bits and bobs from the University. There is always plenty of useful stuff – office furniture, computer monitors, sporting equipment, washing machines and more. There are also more obscure and bizarre items too – bits of old science paraphernalia (some of which has ended up at the Madison Science Museum), test tubes and glassware, vintage books and other, often unidentifiable, things.
