Update 2023: During the protests of 2020, Uncle Hugo’s Bookstore was burned to the ground. Whether they rebuild is still up in the air. A new location, about 2 miles east of the old location is now open! We’re excited to visit soon and get updated photos.

Unlike the neat and orderly Once Upon a Crime, Uncle Hugo’s Bookstore is more concerned about volume. They will have what you want, but it may take some digging. With every conceivable mystery and sci-fi title available (along with posters, toys and other extraneous doo-dads), I’d recommend coming in with a list. Or a wheelbarrow. I suspect their motto is “Come in for that special title, leave with nineteen others, too.”
