The Swedish American Museum in Chicago is a far cry from the grand American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. It still has plenty of charm. The main floor offers a rotating show, featuring a Chicago-related topic. The upstairs has another gallery for changing shows, along with a history of Swedish immigrants into the Chicago area. An enjoyable way to pass an hour for any history buff. Located kitty-corner from Woolly Mammoth.
