Lake Kegonsa State Park is a small park, a short drive from Madison. While there are no awe-inspiring views or natural features like Wildcat Mountain or Natural Bridge State Bridge, it’s a nice place to take an hour-long walk through the prairie. There is also a large play area for children, camping and a beach.
