The Hogarty Art House is a prime example of the sort of random spots creativity you find throughout Wisconsin. Like Fred Smith’s Concrete Park, numerous “outsider” art locations preserved by the Kohler Foundation, and Mary Nohl’s house, an artist felt the urge to create and…did.  Heading west on Highway 52 from the Dells of Eau Claire, look for the Hogarty Art House on your left. Hogarty is only a handful of buildings. (Also, the enormous Abe Lincoln head on legs will be a big tip-off.) The house and yard are filled will bizarre, funny and creative sculptures. A delight to know about and stumble on.

Note: this is a private residence and not open to the public. Please view from the road and do not trespass.
