Just a few miles north of Monches is a fantastic county park. Glacier Hills is a large, hilly area with something to offer for every season – hiking, sledding, swimming, kayaking, skiing, plus reservable hall and chapel for special events. There are even a collection of small cabins that can be rented. Glacier Hills exemplifies the charm of the often overlooked county park. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Holy Hill Basilica perched in the distance, reminiscent of Oxford’s dreaming spires.
