Devil’s Lake State Park is one of the most magnificent state parks Wisconsin has to offer. With 44,000+ acres, even at the busiest times you can find a quiet corner to explore. The park is centered around Devil’s Lake itself and surrounding ridge, formed by an ancient glacier. The trail leading up the ridge is steep and rocky in parts, but also one of the most satisfying and striking Wisconsin hikes you can take.

In addition to the ridge trail, there are miles of other trails behind and around the lake. These are ideal for Winter or for those less inclined to go Up a lot. A Must See location!
