While the Como Park Conservatory can be enjoyed year-round, the zoo and Japanese Gardens are definitely best left for the warmer weather. The zoo is quite extensive and features a large gorilla area, lions, an African veld area with ostriches, zebras and giraffes, wolves, polar bears and a flamingo pond.

The Japanese Gardens of Como Park are stunning. Serene, sculpted, controlled and incredibly lush, they are the perfect place to find a bit of quiet after the zoo and conservatories. Take a few minutes to sit by the water and enjoy this miniature world.
