The Como Park Conservatory is a tropical paradise on the frozen Minnesota prairie. Substantially larger than most midwest conservatories, it houses a Fern Room, Palm House, Sunken Garden, Orchid and Tropical houses, along with many outdoor gardens. The venerable collection has been around for 100 years, and has lovely Victorian-style glass structures, made famous by England’s Kew Gardens. On weekends,  don’t be surprised to stumble through the occasional wedding or senior photo shoot. But there’s room for all and so many fantastic plants to look at!
